Daily Scripture Hope and Reward: Part 1

You are my shield, my very great reward.  (Genesis 15:1)

If a man dies, will he live again?  All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.  (Job 14:14)

I know that my Redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand upon the earth.  And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; whom I myself will see and behold with my own eyes and not another.  How my heart yearns within me!  (Job 19:25-27)

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied with Your likeness.  (Psalm 17:15)

No one who waits for You will be ashamed, but those who are treacherous without cause will be ashamed.  Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation, and my hope is in You all day long.  (Psalm 25:3-5)

I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.  I will hope in the Lord and be of good courage, and He will strengthen my heart; yes, I will hope in the Lord.  (Psalm 27:13-14)

I will sing praises to the Lord and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.  For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.  (Psalm 30:4-5)

My soul waits in hope for the Lord; He is my help and my shield.  My heart rejoices in Him, because I trust in His holy name.  (Psalm 33:20-21)

Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why are you disturbed within me?  Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the help of His presence.  O my God, my soul is downcast within me; therefore I will remember You.  Why are you downcast, O my soul?  Why are you disturbed within me?  Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.  (Psalm 42:5-6, 11)

You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth.  As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise You more and more.  (Psalm 71:5, 14)
