Daily Scripture Love and Acceptance: Part 4

May the Lord make me increase and abound in my love for believers and for unbelievers.  (1 Thessalonians 3:12)

Concerning brotherly love, we have been taught by God to love each other, and the Lord urges us to increase more and more.  (1 Thessalonians 4:9-10)

We must let brotherly love continue.  (Hebrews 13:1)

I will not slander other believers.  Anyone who slanders his brother or judges his brother slanders the law and judges the law.  When I judge the law, I am not a doer of the law, but a judge.  There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy.  Who am I to judge my neighbor?  (James 4:11-12)

In obedience to the truth I will purify my soul for a sincere love of the brethren, and I will love others fervently from the heart.  (1 Peter 1:22)

Above all, I will have a fervent love for others, because love covers a multitude of sins.  (1 Peter 4:8)

The one who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.  But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.  (1 John 2:10-11)

This is the message we heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.  We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren.  The one who does not love abides in death.  By this we know love, that Christ laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  (1 John 3:11, 14, 16)

This is God’s commandment: that we believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as He commanded us.  (1 John 3:23)

We should love one another, for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.  Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.  (1 John 4:7-8)
