Daily Scripture Prayers of Affirmation, Part 39

Godliness with contentment is great gain. For I brought nothing into the world, and I can take nothing out of it. But if I have food and clothing, with these I will be content. (1 Timothy 6:6-8)

Those who are rich in this present world should not be arrogant or set their hope on the uncertainty of riches but on God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. They should do good, be rich in good works, and be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for them- selves as a firm foundation for the future, so that they may lay hold of true life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19)

God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)

This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him; if we endure, we will also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us; if we are faithless, He will remain faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. (2 Timothy 2:11-13)
