Daily Scripture Prayers of Intercession: Part 1

Oh, that they would always have such a heart to fear Me and keep all My commandments, so that it might be well with them and with their children forever!  (Deuteronomy 5:29)

May Your commandments be upon my heart, so that I may teach them diligently to my children and talk about them when I sit in my house and when I walk along the way and when I lie down and when I rise up.  (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)

May I lay up Your words in my heart and in my soul and teach them to my children, talking about them when I sit in my house and when I walk along the way and when I lie down and when I rise up.  (Deuteronomy 11:18-19)

Be careful to obey all these words which I command you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, when you do what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.  (Deuteronomy 12:28)

Be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, without turning aside to the right or to the left.  But you are to hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day.  (Joshua 23:6, 8)

"Now therefore," said Joshua, "turn away from the foreign gods which are among you and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel." (Joshua 24:23)

May the Lord repay your work and may you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.  (Ruth 2:12)

Far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for others.  (1 Samuel 12:23)

The God of Israel spoke,
The Rock of Israel said to me:
"He who rules over men in righteousness,
Who rules in the fear of God,
Is like the light of morning when the sun rises,
A morning without clouds,
Like the tender grass springing out of the earth
Through the sunshine after rain."  (2 Samuel 23:3-4)

Incline Your ear, O Lord, and hear; open Your eyes, O Lord, and see.  (2 Kings 19:16)
