Daily Scripture Prayers of Thanksgiving, Part 27

The Father Himself loves me because I have loved Jesus and have believed that He came forth from God. (John 16:27)

It is in You, Lord Jesus, that I have peace. In this world I will have tribulation, but I will be of good cheer, because You have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

The Father granted the Son authority over all people that He might give eternal life to as many as He has given Him. (John 17:2)

Jesus did not ask that the Father should take us out of the world, but that He protect us from the evil one. He prayed, “Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory, the glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:15, 24)

God sent His word to the children of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. He commanded the apostles to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets witness that through His name, everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins. (Acts 10:36, 42-43)

I have been set apart for the gospel of God—I am among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:1, 6)
