The Lord said, “In My Father’s house are many dwellings; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
He who hates Jesus hates His Father as well. (John 15:23)
The Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)
Jesus told His disciples, “The Spirit will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is Mine. Therefore I said that He will take from what is Mine and make it known to you.” (John 16:14-15)
Jesus told His disciples, “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” (John 16:28)
The Father granted the Son authority over all people that He might give eternal life to as many as He has given Him. (John 17:2)
The Lord prayed, “I glorified You on the earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world began.” (John 17:4-5)
Jesus did not ask that the Father should take us out of the world, but that He protect us from the evil one. He prayed, “Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory, the glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17:15, 24)
The Lord Jesus was taken up to heaven, after He gave instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen. (Acts 1:2)
