BE FAITHFUL IN THE
LITTLE THINGS

I will let the fear of the Lord be upon me,
and I will be careful in what I do,
for with the Lord my God
there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
(2 Chronicles 19:7)

He who is faithful with very little
is also faithful with much,
and whoever is dishonest with very little
will also be dishonest with much.
If one is not faithful in handling worldly wealth,
who will trust him with true riches?
And if one is not faithful with someone else’s property,
who will give him property of his own?
(Luke 16:10–12)

Lord, may I embrace the discipline of fidelity in the small things of life, knowing that they will shape the course of the great things. I want to order my steps in the fear of You—the desire to honor and please You above all else, and the holy fear of displeasing You. Amen.
