From Handbook to Wisdom

Jesus is the doorway for the sheep of God’s pasture,
and it is His good pleasure that those who are
called by Him will enjoy His abundant life. 

You are the door; whoever enters through You
will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
You have come that we may have life and have it abundantly.
(John 10:9–10)

Lord Jesus, it encourages and comforts me to know that You are the Good Shepherd of my soul and that I can enjoy the abundant pastures into which You guide me. You protect me from my adversaries and deliver me from the snares of death and destruction. You lead me in the way of everlasting life. Amen.
