From Handbook to Wisdom

Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will find satisfaction in Jesus.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
(Matthew 5:6)

Lord Jesus, this world with its constant appeals to vanity, comparison, and earthly wealth is too much with me. Give me the grace to hunger and thirst for the things You declare to be important. May I long for Your righteousness and realize that I possess all things in Christ. Amen.
