From Handbook to Renewal

The Attributes of God 

I will be still and know that You are God; You will be exalted among the nations, You will be exalted in the earth. (Psalm 46:10)

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus is blessed forever. (2 Corinthians 11:31)

The Works of God 

You formed my inward parts; You wove me together in my mother’s womb. I thank You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, and my soul knows it full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my embryo, and all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:13–16)

Through Christ all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (John 1:3–4)

My Relationship to God

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:15)

By Your grace, I want to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:21)

The Character I Want to Cultivate 

Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid. (Proverbs 12:1)

Pride breeds nothing but strife, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. (Proverbs 13:10)

My Relationship to Others 

I will contribute to the needs of the saints and practice hospitality. (Romans 12:13)

I will not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)
