From Simple Prayers, Day 123
I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.
Out of the depths I have called to You, O Lord.
O Lord, hear my voice,
And let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. (Psalm 130:1–2)
Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. (Psalm 7:17)
As the earth brings forth its sprouts and as a garden causes that which is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. (Isaiah 61:11)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, whom I have from God, and I am not my own. For I was bought at a price; therefore I will glorify God in my body. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. (Galatians 6:3)
I want to walk in a way that is worthy of the calling with which I was called, with all humility and meekness and patience. (Ephesians 4:1–2)
Lord, I thank You for Your righteousness and for Your promise to make righteousness spring up before all nations. I thank You that I was bought at a price, and I ask that I would walk in a way that is worthy of the calling with which I was called.
