I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
I am grateful to You, O God, for the blessing of Your forgiveness. I thank You that in Christ, You set me free from the guilt of the past and give me hope for the future.
When I have sinned against You, hear from heaven and forgive my sin and restore me. Teach me the good way in which I should walk. When I sin against You—for there is no one who does not sin—may I return to You with all my heart and with all my soul. (1 Kings 8:33–34, 36, 46, 48)
Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides You; nor is there any Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2)
God will have mercy on whom He has mercy, and He will have compassion on whom He has compassion. It does not depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. (Romans 9:15–16)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
Lord Jesus, all that the Father gives You will come to You, and whoever comes to You, You will never cast out. For You have come down from heaven not to do Your own will, but the will of Him who sent You. And this is the will of Him who sent You, that You will lose none of all that He has given You, but raise them up at the last day. For Your Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and You will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:37–40)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
If it is possible, as far as it depends on me, I will live at peace with all men. (Romans 12:18)
Far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for others. (1 Samuel 12:23)
Lord, I thank You that there is no one holy like You and that You show mercy and compassion according to Your perfect will. I thank You that You will never cast out anyone who looks to Your Son and believes in Him, and I ask that I will live at peace with and pray for others.
