I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Do not let the foot of pride come against me,
And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away. (Psalm 36:10–11)

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your presence. (Psalm 90:8)

The Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. (John 16:8)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified. (Romans 8:29–30)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

To the law and to the testimony! If men do not speak according to Your word, they have no light of dawn. (Isaiah 8:20)

You are the stability of our times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure. (Isaiah 33:6)

Lord, I thank You that Your Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. I thank You for Your purpose in conforming me to the likeness of Your Son, and I ask that I would speak according to the wisdom of Your Word.
