Daily Prayer: Day 180

From Simple Prayers, Day 180

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

May I pursue the things that lead to peace and to mutual edification. (Romans 14:19)

May I accept others, just as Christ accepted me to the glory of God. (Romans 15:7)

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom His favor rests. (Luke 2:14)

The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1–2)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. (Proverbs 14:12)

Wisdom is better than jewels, and all desirable things cannot be compared with her. Wisdom dwells together with prudence and finds knowledge and discretion. (Proverbs 8:11–12)

Lord, I thank You that Christ will come again and reign forever. I thank You that there is no condemnation for those who are in Him, and I ask that I would find prudence, knowledge, and discretion.
