I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

Like Josiah, may I do what is right in the sight of the Lord, walking in the ways of David and not turning aside to the right or to the left. (2 Chronicles 34:1–2)

Like Josiah, give me a tender and responsive heart, so that I will humble myself before You when I hear Your Word. (2 Chronicles 34:27)

May I walk in the steps of Jesus, who often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The God and Father of the Lord Jesus is blessed forever. (2 Corinthians 11:31)

When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. (Galatians 4:4–5)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6:14)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I know, my God, that You test the heart and are pleased with integrity. (1 Chronicles 29:17)

I will not pervert justice or show partiality. I will not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous. (Deuteronomy 16:19)

Lord, I thank You that You are blessed forever and that You sent Your Son so that we could be adopted into Your family. I thank You for the power of the cross of Christ, and I ask that I would walk in integrity and justice.
