I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.
Since I have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, I will hold firmly to the faith I confess. For I do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with my weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as I am, yet without sin. Therefore, I will approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that I may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:14–16)

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
I will exalt the Lord my God and worship Him, for the Lord God is holy. (Psalm 99:9)
The Lord has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their heart. He has brought down rulers from their thrones and has lifted up the humble. (Luke 1:51–52)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
It is in You, Lord Jesus, that I have peace. In this world I will have tribulation, but I will be of good cheer, because You have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
This is the message we heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. The one who does not love abides in death. By this we know love, that Christ laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (1 John 3:11, 14, 16)
We should love one another, for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7–8)
Lord, I thank You for Your holiness and for the mighty deeds You have done. I thank You that I have peace in Christ, and I ask that I would love others in the same way You loved me.
