I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights.
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts.
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you shining stars.
Praise Him, you highest heavens
And you waters above the heavens.
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created.
He established them for ever and ever;
He gave a decree that will not pass away. (Psalm 148:1–6)
Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
The Lord is the God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed. (1 Samuel 2:3)
The Lord, He is God. It is He who made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (Psalm 100:3)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus my Lord. (Romans 8:38–39)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking guile. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. (1 Peter 3:10–12)
I will not let love and truth leave me; I will bind them around my neck and write them on the tablet of my heart. (Proverbs 3:3)
Lord, I thank You that You are the God of knowledge and that I am part of Your flock. I thank You that nothing can separate me from Your love that is in Christ Jesus, and I ask that I would seek Your righteousness and cling to Your love and truth.
