I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ. 

Praise the Lord!
I will thank the Lord with all my heart
In the council of the upright and in the assembly.
Great are the works of the Lord;
They are pondered by all who delight in them.
Splendid and majestic is His work,
And His righteousness endures forever.
He has caused His wonderful acts to be remembered;
The Lord is gracious and compassionate. (Psalm 111:1–4)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Though the Lord is on high, yet He looks upon the lowly, but the proud He knows from afar. (Psalm 138:6)

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I did not receive a spirit of slavery again to fear, but I received the Spirit of adoption by whom I cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself testifies with my spirit that I am a child of God. (Romans 8:15–16)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6)

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. (Matthew 10:24–25)

Lord, I thank You for looking upon the lowly and for laying down Your life for Your friends. I thank You that I have received the Spirit of adoption as Your child, and I ask that I would seek Your righteousness and desire to be more like Christ.
