I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

I do not lose heart; even though my outward man is perishing, yet my inner man is being renewed day by day. For this light affliction which is momentary is working for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while I do not look at the things which are seen but at the things which are unseen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16–18)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

The Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth! God is the King of all the earth, and I will sing His praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. (Psalm 47:2, 7–8)

Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a road so that the redeemed might cross over? (Isaiah 51:10)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in You my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of Your wings until destruction passes by. I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me. (Psalm 57:1–2)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will remember those who led me, who spoke the word of God to me. I will consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (Hebrews 13:7)

My desire is to continue to walk in the truth and to take pleasure when others do the same. (3 John 3–4)

Lord, I thank You that You are the awesome King over all the nations and that You redeemed Your people out of the hands of their enemies. I pray that You will fulfill Your purpose for me, and I ask that I would imitate those who walk in the truth.
