I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I know God and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every motive behind the thoughts. (1 Chronicles 28:9)

May I be an imitator of God as a beloved child, and walk in love, just as Christ loved me and gave Himself up for me as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:1–2)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

“My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8–9)

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words Jesus spoke are spirit and are life. (John 6:63)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day. (2 Timothy 1:12)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34)

I will not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in my power to act. (Proverbs 3:27)

Lord, I thank You for the greatness of Your thoughts and ways and for Your Spirit who gives life. I thank You that Christ will guard and protect me until the day I see Him, and I ask that I would not be anxious, but that I would be ready to do good to others.
