I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

No one who waits for You will be ashamed,
But those who are treacherous without cause will be ashamed.
Show me Your ways, O Lord,
Teach me Your paths;
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation,
And my hope is in You all day long. (Psalm 25:3–5)

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. (2 Corinthians 1:3)

Christ had to be made like His brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:17–18)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

From the beginning, God chose me for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth. He called me to this through the gospel, that I might obtain the glory of my Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 2:13–14)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I do not want to grow weary in doing what is right. (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

I will take courage and not be afraid, for the Lord Jesus is with me. (Mark 6:50)

Lord, I thank You that You are the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort and that Christ helps me when I am being tempted. I thank You for calling me into a relationship with You, and I ask that I would take courage an not grow weary in doing what is right.
