I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD
I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.
Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
May Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. (Psalm 143:10)
May I listen to counsel and accept instruction,
That I may be wise in my latter days. (Proverbs 19:20)
Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.
THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Your lovingkindness, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast. How priceless is Your lovingkindness, O God! The children of men find refuge in the shadow of Your wings. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. (Psalm 36:5–7, 9)
The eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the whole earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9)
I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH
May God grant me, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And may I, being rooted and grounded in love, be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled to all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16–19)
MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD
I have sought You with my whole heart; do not let me stray from Your commands. (Psalm 119:10)
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. (Psalm 128:1)
Lord, I thank You for Your lovingkindness and faithfulness and for strengthening the hearts of those who are committed to You. I pray that I would have a deeper understanding of the love of Christ, and I ask that I would seek You with my whole heart and walk in Your ways.
