I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through the merits of Christ. 

I will give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
His lovingkindness endures forever. (Psalm 118:1)

Your word is settled in heaven
Forever, O Lord.
Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
You established the earth, and it stands.
They continue to this day according to Your ordinances,
For all things serve You. (Psalm 119:89–91)

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below; You keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart. (1 Kings 8:23; 2 Chronicles 6:14)

You promised to restore the children of Israel and Judah, saying, “They shall be My people, and I will be their God. And I will give them one heart and one way, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and the good of their children after them.” (Jeremiah 32:38–39)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

It is for my good that You returned to the Father, because You have sent the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, to me. (John 16:7)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

I will stop trusting in man, whose breath is in his nostrils. For in what should he be esteemed? (Isaiah 2:22)

Lord, I thank You that You are utterly unique and that You are faithful to Your promises. I thank You for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and comforts me, and I ask that I would trust in You more than in men.
