I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
Sing the glory of His name;
Make His praise glorious.
Say to God, “How awesome are Your works!
Through the greatness of Your power
Your enemies submit themselves to You.
All the earth will worship You
And sing praises to You;
They will sing praise to Your name.” (Psalm 66:1–4)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

My days are like a lengthened shadow, and I wither away like grass. But You, O Lord, will endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations. Of old, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing, You will change them, and they will be discarded. But You are the same, and Your years will have no end. (Psalm 102:11–12, 25–27)

Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest! (Luke 19:38)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I am from God and am an overcomer, because He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

Whoever acknowledges You before men, You will also acknowledge him before Your Father in heaven. But whoever denies You before men, You will also deny him before Your Father in heaven. (Matthew 10:32–33)

I will not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, but I will join with others in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God. (2 Timothy 1:8)

Lord, I thank You that You are eternal and that Christ has come in Your name. I thank You for dwelling in me, and I ask that I would never be ashamed of Jesus Christ, but be willing to suffer for the gospel according to Your power.
