Daily Prayer: Day 325

From Simple Prayers, Day 325

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I not steal. (Exodus 20:15; Deuteronomy 5:19)

May I not bear false witness against my neighbor. (Exodus 20:16; Deuteronomy 5:20)

May I not covet my neighbor’s house, my neighbor’s wife, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to my neighbor. (Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

I will regard the Lord of hosts as holy; He shall be my fear, and He shall be my dread. (Isaiah 8:13)

Jesus is the stone which was rejected by the builders, but which has become the chief cornerstone. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:11–12)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and by believing, I have life in His name. (John 20:31)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

He who walks in uprightness fears the Lord, but he who is devious in his ways despises Him. (Proverbs 14:2)

A man will be satisfied with good from the fruit of his mouth, and the deeds of a man’s hands will return to him. (Proverbs 12:14)

Lord, I thank You that You are my fear and that Jesus is the way You have provided for salvation. I thank You that by believing in Christ Jesus, I have life in His name, and I ask that I would walk in uprightness in word and in deed.
