Daily Prayer: Day 331

From Simple Prayers, Day 331

I DRAW NEAR TO YOU, GOD

I am grateful to You, O God, for the blessing of your forgiveness. I thank You that in Christ, You set me free from the guilt of the past and give me hope for the future.

O God, You know my foolishness,
And my guilt is not hidden from You.
May those who hope in You not be ashamed because of me, O Lord God of hosts;
May those who seek You not be dishonored because of me, O God of Israel. (Psalm 69:5–6)

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts,
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23–24)

Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness.

THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE

I will arise and bless the Lord, my God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be Your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise! (Nehemiah 9:5)

The earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19)

I LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS OF TRUTH

I will not forget the covenant You have made with me, nor will I worship other gods. But I will fear the Lord my God; it is He who will deliver me from the hand of all my enemies. (2 Kings 17:38–39)

MY RESPONSE TO YOU, LORD

I will not be dishonest in judgment, in measurement of weight or quantity. I will be honest and just in my business affairs. (Leviticus 19:35–36)

I will not follow the crowd in doing wrong. (Exodus 23:2)

Lord, I thank You that Your glorious name is exalted above all blessing and praise, and that all creation awaits the time of resurrection. I thank You for delivering me from the hand of all my enemies, and I ask that I would demonstrate integrity and justice in my dealings with others.
