Measuring Out Compassion
(Petition)

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

Out of the depths I have called to You, O Lord.
O Lord, hear my voice,
And let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. (Psalm 130:1–2)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

He who heeds instruction is on the path of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray. (Proverbs 10:17)

I will not judge so that I will not be judged. For in the same way I judge others, I will be judged; and with the measure I use, it will be measured to me. (Matthew 7:1–2)

Lord, I thank You that You know me intimately and that Jesus serves people with love and compassion. I thank You that You call me to bear much fruit. Please give me a humble heart that responds to Your rebuke and keep me from judging others.
