Doing Good Deeds
(Renewal)

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

I must let my light shine before men, that they may see my good deeds and praise my Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

I want to walk in a way that is worthy of the calling with which I was called, with all humility and meekness and patience. (Ephesians 4:1–2)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord, and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

I will keep my life free from the love of money . . . for You have said, “I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.” (Matthew 25:35–37)

Lord, I thank You for wisdom in Christ. I thank You that I will know Jesus fully. May I be content with what I have, and do good deeds toward others.
