David writes in Psalm 8:3–4, “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; what is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him?” Despite how small and sinful we are, God loves us. We have done evil and have sinned against God, yet He loved us and gave Himself up for us. Contemplate the reality that the God of the universe died for you. As you do so, consider how you might enhance your love for God through obedience to Him.
