What does it mean to “walk by the Spirit”? There have been many different ideas about the role of Holy Spirit. Some movements ignore the Holy Spirit almost entirely. Other movements emphasize the Holy Spirit and lose sight of other members of the Trinity. To know what it means to walk by the Spirit, we must examine Scripture. Without this foundation, we might emphasize the heart to the exclusion of the mind, or vice-versa. We need to let Scripture inform our understanding of Spirit-filled spirituality.
