365 Key Chapters of the Bible: Genesis 44

Joseph had a spirit of wisdom. In Genesis 44 we see this demonstrated once more as he tests his brothers. In this powerful account of character development, Judah, who previously took part in the selling of his brother into slavery, now offers himself as a slave in place of the youngest brother, Benjamin. In this way Joseph was able to witness the repentance and remorse of his brothers over their previous sin.
