Daily Prayer: Year 1, Day 41

From A Simple Book of Prayers

Caring for Others
(Affirmation)

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth but also express it in the way I live.

I will not fear, for You are with me;
I will not be dismayed, for You are my God.
You will strengthen me and help me;
You will uphold me with Your righteous right hand.
For You are the Lord my God, who takes hold of my right hand
And says to me, “Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:10, 13)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture, and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (Isaiah 5:20)

We must take heed to ourselves and to all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made us overseers to shepherd the church of God. (Acts 20:28)

Lord, I praise You. You are the God of all mankind. Everyone who believes in Christ will receive forgiveness of sins. I thank You for the richness of Your mercy. May I take heed to myself and guide others into the truth of Your Word.
