Acknowledging Jesus
(Affirmation)

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth but also express it in the way I live.

May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and has given us eternal consolation and good hope by grace, comfort our hearts and strengthen us in every good work and word. (2 Thessalonians 2:16–17)

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture, and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

Whoever acknowledges You before men, You will also acknowledge him before Your Father in heaven. But whoever denies You before men, You will also deny him before Your Father in heaven. (Matthew 10:32–33)

I will not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, but I will join with others in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God. (2 Timothy 1:8)

Lord, I thank You that Your promises are sure and that You will create new heavens and a new earth. I thank You for choosing me to bear fruit, and I ask that I would acknowledge Jesus Christ before others.
