Singing His Praise
(Adoration)

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, Your goodness, and Your love; and I now draw near to enjoy Your presence.

The Lord Most High is awesome,
The great King over all the earth!
God is the King of all the earth,
And I will sing His praise.
(Psalm 47:2, 7)

You must be treated as holy by those who come near You, and before all people, You will be honored. (Leviticus 10:3)

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty, and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the likeness of God; out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing, and this should not be. (James 3:9–10)

We should all be of one mind and be sympathetic, loving as brothers, compassionate, and humble. (1 Peter 3:8)

Lord, I praise You for Your majesty and for the saving work of Your Son. I thank You that I have confessed the Lord Jesus with my mouth, and I ask for the power to restrain my tongue and to be compassionate to others.
