Pursuing Others’ Good
(Petition)
As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.
May my conscience testify that I have conducted myself in the world in the holiness and sincerity that are from God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, especially in my relations with others. (2 Corinthians 1:12)
Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.
I will not repay evil for evil to anyone, but I will pursue what is good for others. (1 Thessalonians 5:15)
I will treat subordinates with respect, not threatening them, knowing that both their Master and mine is in heaven; and there is no partiality with Him. (Ephesians 6:9)
Lord, I praise You that You are the ruler of all things and that You save the humble. I thank You for Your goodness, and I ask that I would pursue what is in the best interests of others.
