Loving My Enemies
(Renewal)

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I remove the places of idolatry from my life, and like Asa, let my heart be fully committed to God all my days. (2 Chronicles 15:17)

May I trust in the Lord and do good; may I dwell in the land and feed on Your faithfulness. When I delight myself in the Lord, You will give me the desires of my heart. I will commit my way to the Lord and trust in You, and You will bring it to pass. (Psalm 37:3–5)

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord, and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

I will love my enemies, do good to them. . . . for He is kind to the ungrateful and evil. (Luke 6:35)

I will bear with others and forgive whatever complaints I have against them; I will forgive just as the Lord forgave me. (Colossians 3:13)

Lord, I praise You for Your righteous and glorious throne. You created me in Christ Jesus for good works. May I be merciful and love those who do not love me. May I demonstrate forbearance and forgiveness.
