Fishing with Jesus
(Confession)

I am grateful to You, O God, for the blessing of Your forgiveness. I thank You that in Christ You set me free from the guilt of the past and give me hope for the future.

God’s eyes are on the ways of a person,
And He sees all their steps.
There is no darkness or deep shadow
Where the workers of iniquity can hide.
He does not need to examine a person further,
That they should go before God in judgment. (Job 34:21–23)

Take a moment to ask the Spirit to search your heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin. Acknowledge these to the Lord, and thank Him for His forgiveness.

I will not seek my own interests, but those of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:21)

As I follow You, You will make me a fisher of men. (Matthew 4:19; Mark 1:17)

Lord, I praise You. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ and He will return to the earth with power and great glory. I thank You for Your power and for Your precious promises, and I ask that I would seek the interests of Christ Jesus and share His life with others.
