Daily Prayer: Year 1, Day 81

From A Simple Book of Prayers

Walking Wisely
(Petition)

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let Your hand be with me and keep me from evil, so it may not grieve me. (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Please regard Your servant’s prayer and his supplication, O Lord my God. Listen to the cry and the prayer that Your servant is praying before You this day. (1 Kings 8:28)

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool will be thrown down. (Proverbs 10:8)

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to counsel. (Proverbs 12:15)

Lord, I praise You that You are the exalted Rock of my salvation. Thank You that the blood of Christ cleanses me from all impurity. I thank You for the light of Your presence, and I ask that I would be wise in heart and listen to counsel.
