Ken Boa continues to discuss relationships, moving to a focus on friendships, in this subseries on relationships in his Friday morning men’s study (Momentum) series “Being, Knowing & Doing: How Godly Principles Strategically Affect Men’s Everyday Lives.”
Ken discusses friendship as an aspect of our lives that can greatly enrich us, spiritually as well as in other ways. He defines the five levels of friendship: casual contacts, companions, colleagues, comrades, and covenant relationships. He discusses the mutuality of friendship (there is give and take on both sides) and emphasizes the need for intentionality and commitment in order to develop deeper friendships (comrade and covenant levels of relationships).
