The Spiritual Life: The Essence of True Greatness

This entry is part 41 of 44 in the series Being, Knowing, and Doing

By what do you measure true greatness? Fame? Power? Position? Possessions? Jesus makes it clear that true greatness is found in service. He gives us a beautiful picture of this as He, the master, washes the feet His disciples. In such a way, He serves them. Likewise, we are to serve as He served. With this comes the realization that that our resources are actually Christ’s resources. As children of God, we are secure in Him to use what He has given us to love and serve others.

This teaching is part of a subseries on the spiritual life and is part 41 of the larger series, “Being, Knowing & Doing: How Godly Principles Strategically Affect Men’s Everyday Lives.”
