Identity Affirmations 2

Identity Affirmations 2

The world seeks to infiltrate our minds. It will tell us over and over again that we are worth nothing, that we are not as good as the person next to us. Even as believers in Christ, we often buy into these ideas. However, they are lies.

The world wants us to have a false and insecure identity based only on ourselves and our abilities. But Scripture presents a radically different picture of Who God is and who we are in Him.

God showed His love by sending His only Son to die for us on the cross, so that those who believe in Him might be set free for eternal life. He has redeemed us and called us His own, but not because of anything we’ve done. The world hates this identity and tries to give us a false narrative, an unstable identity.

Because of this, let us be on guard and affirm our identity in Christ daily, battling the lies of the world with the truth we find in Scripture!
