Identity Affirmations 4

Identity Affirmations 4

In times of cultural chaos, it is essential to live by faith instead of fear. Yes, it is important to walk in wisdom and prudence as well, but fear seeks to define us. We combat this anxious identity by reminding ourselves and others of the biblical narrative.

Part of this narrative is that life is short. Everyone will die.

But there is hope. God has made us for Himself and called us to eternity. The trials of this life cannot compare to the glory that waits for us with Him. We must affirm this identity daily, knowing that He has given us an inheritance with Him and called us to the heavenly places.

When we do this, fear will not be the author of our story. Instead, we will have an eternal perspective as we walk with God.
