Is there any evidence for the end times? Are we living in the end times now? While no one knows the day nor the hour of Christ’s coming, Jesus tells His disciples to be on alert and warns them of the signs of the end times.
Text: Revelation 6–7 Whereas chapter five of Revelation gives us a picture of the heavenly throne room of God and of the vesting of authority to the Son to be the executor of judgment, chapter six reveals that judgment taking place as the Lamb breaks the seven seals.
In Revelation 4, the LORD calls John up to heaven with a “voice like a trumpet” (Rev. 4:1), and we’re given a dazzling portrait of heaven that we ourselves look forward to with eager anticipation.
Jesus’ messages to the seven churches in chapter two of Revelation contain a mixture of praise and rebuke. We can learn from the shortfalls and strengths of these early churches.
From the Father, to the Son, to John, this revelation comes from the eternal One.

In one sense, God is incomprehensible to us. We cannot fully understand Him, and we cannot get to know Him on our own terms. He has to be the One to reveal Himself to us.
Ultimately, Ecclesiastes wants us to be so dissatisfied with life “under the sun” that we learn to cling to life under the Son.
In order to follow Christ, we need to know Him and walk in His ways. Two of Paul’s prayers in Ephesians sum up these truths for believers.
Having explored the clarity of the new covenant, Paul prays that his fellow believers would be enabled to live well out of their enlightenment in Christ.
