From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 129 (Promises)

The Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead
lives in me and will raise me from the dead.

If Christ is in me, my body is dead because of sin,
yet my spirit is alive because of righteousness.
And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus
from the dead is living in me,
He who raised Christ from the dead
will also give life to my mortal body through
His Spirit, who lives in me.
(Romans 8:10–11)

Lord, I give thanks that though my body is mortal, yet my spirit is alive with the indwelling Holy Spirit. And it is through the power of Your Holy Spirit that I will be raised from the dead so that I will be made complete in my spirit, soul, and body. Amen.
