From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 133 (Promises)

My security is in the Lord
who will bring me safely to
His heavenly kingdom.

The Lord will deliver me from every evil work
and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.
To Him be glory forever and ever.
(2 Timothy 4:18)

Lord, my confidence rests entirely on You and not on myself. I know that You will deliver me from all evil intentions and devices, and that You will bring me safely in the end to Your heavenly kingdom. There I will behold Your resplendent glory forever. Amen.
