From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 137 (Promises)

God has plans to give me a future and a hope.

“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a future and a hope.”
(Jeremiah 29:11)

O Lord, I give thanks that You are my unchanging source of meaning and hope, and that I am here for a purpose. Because of Your great love, and because You are in control of all things, nothing will defeat Your gracious plans to give me a future and a hope. Amen.
