From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 139 (Promises)

The more I walk in loving obedience to Jesus,
the greater my fellowship with
the Father and the Son.

He who has Your commandments and obeys them,
he is the one who loves You;
and he who loves You will be loved by Your Father,
and You will love him and manifest Yourself to him.
(John 14:21)

Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to respond to Your Word with a heart of obedience that is prompted by love. I desire a growing manifestation of You and the Father in my life, and I wish to walk in responsiveness to all that You desire me to be and to do. Amen.
