From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 142 (Promises)

I have confidence that I will receive
whatever I ask that is according to
the will of Jesus.

This is the confidence I have in the Son of God,
that if I ask anything according to His will, He hears me.
And if I know that He hears me, whatever I ask,
I know that I have the requests that I have
asked from Him.
(1 John 5:14–15)

Lord Jesus, may my prayers be in accordance with Your will, so that I will grow in grace and in intimacy with You. I give thanks for answered prayer, knowing that You care about the things that concern me and that You are pleased when I come to You with my requests. Amen.
