From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 145 (Wisdom)

LOOK TO GOD FOR WISDOM

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
(Proverbs 1:7)

The Lord gives wisdom;
from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who live with integrity,
guarding the paths of justice and protecting the way of
His saints. Then you will understand righteousness
and justice and honesty—every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion
will protect you, and understanding will guard you.
(Proverbs 2:6–11)

O Lord, You alone are the wellspring of knowledge and wisdom. May I diligently seek You and order my steps with integrity, righteousness, justice, and honesty. I ask that Your wisdom will permeate my heart and practice, and that I will grow in the skill of living with each aspect of my life under Your dominion. Amen.
