From Handbook to Wisdom, Day 160

BECOME WINSOME TO A WATCHING WORLD

I should walk in wisdom toward outsiders,
making the most of every opportunity.
My speech should always be with grace,
seasoned with salt,
so that I may know how to answer each person.
(Colossians 4:5–6)

I will sanctify Christ as Lord in my heart,
always being ready to make a defense
to everyone who asks me to give the reason for the hope that is in me,
but with gentleness and respect.
(1 Peter 3:15)

Lord God, I want to sanctify Christ as Lord in my heart and seek His honor. May I live with such quality that people who observe me will want an explanation for the hope that they observe in me. When I have opportunities to share the Good News to others, give me wisdom, clarity, and boldness so that the gospel will be credible. Amen.
